Dormitory Evil: Biol-hazard (part1)
Saturday, December 29th, 2007So why exactly is the blog post title goes that way? well, let’s just say that we experienced total survivor horror since we arrievd to our dormitory a few days back. An experience similar to that of Resident Evil only minus the biohazardous zombies and the mutants wanting us dead- biol (a malay term used for douschy, f-ed up or dumbass personality) only security guards and wardens wanting us out.
Thus begins our story- our horror- our survival- Dormitory Evil: Biol-hazard…

1400-1430
I arrived to the dormitory compound without alerting the security guard. After i finished securing all my luggages, i waited for Adam’s arrival. We are to randezvous at block 4’s lvl4- our old hang out spot..
1430-1700
Shifting our stuff all the way from block 4 to block 5 was indeed bone breaking. Adam brought reinforcemet for the first hour but the backup unit was on a deadline. Unfortunately the deadline arrived just after we finished shifting half of adam’s stuff. Thus, it means that we have to carry the remains all on our own. Finding room for ourselves was just as tough. First up, we attempt to find the dorm level with least PISMP seniors (and we also found out another group senior known as the PPPREPT.. wonders if its the same people) so that there’ll be enough rooms in the house for other TESL Cohort 5 students. We even reached a breaking point where we cant decide on which level that we ended up brain jammed in block 4’s common room. Seriously, it sucked. Finaly we decided on level 4 which was not exactly our first choice either. However, on our next trip to block 1 (yep, we were still transferring our luggages to block and it was only done 60%), we met Madam Fatimah, warden of block 4 and we asked her on how should we be booking our rooms. She told us to ask aisamuddin to book dorm levels based on courses. True enough, level 5 and level 7 will be our TESL Cohort 5 headquarters. Which means that we wont need to fight with the seniors for rooms. Guess that its the peacefulmost way of all.
1700-1930
But that good news came with a bit of a price. Now that we actually finished transferring 60% of our luggage to lvl4, we had to reshift them to lvl 5 and although its just a floor of difference, the job took longer than we expected. In all, we made around 6 trips to and fro block4 and block1. Even so, the job finished at around 1830 hours and we went for a lil dinner in Amjal.. a victory dinner to be exact and we had no idea what’s coming up next…
2030-2230
We came back from dinner and we decide to clean things up abit for our settlement and tht involves abit of furniture shifting. It didnt took that long and neither does it energy consuming- after all, we had just recharged ourselves with dinner. On top of that, we cant wait to settle in. True enough, the room wasn that bad in the end. We make perfect copy of 402A(e) room and things are starting to settle down and block 1 is starting to feel like our home.. i mean; dorm again.
2230-2330
And thus comes the threat for our existence in block1- the wardens. As we were just coming out of the room, the warden came to us and there’s no way we could have stopped their ambush. At first, i thought it would be a friendly one. Perhaps, simply asking on what are we doing here and all but just then, madam hamidah (aka. the biggest recent @##$%%$#$##$$%^#$^%@!$$# i ever met so far) start things off by asking on who the hell allow us to reside in this block at this time. I ended up doing most of the resistance as these primitive beings seems to understand my malay language.. as much as it was fascinating, it was also dreadful indeed. According to them, we are not allowed to stay in dorms during holidays. I shielded ourselves with the reason on us coming early was so that we can book rooms in our new dorm and block shifting is time consuming. I even reinforced my resistance that it was madam fatimah who encouraged us to choose our rooms. Yet, i misjudged their tolerance ability aside to that surprising mental capabilities. The warden simply accused us of using madam fatimah ways and she insisted that we shall leave TONIGHT. THeir tolerence level is obviously low as they dont even bother asking us on where our hometowns are- they just keep insisting that we clear it out that night and that night only. In contrast to my early conception, their mental capabilities are just as low as they keep claiming that we need to stick with the dorm protocol. Hmm.. I thought the protocol was to keep students safe. If we get kicked out like that and ended up hit by a lorry or something- isnt that already agaisnt the protocol. Like i said, the prtocol was to safe the students from harm- not saving the dorm’s image from harm- and this strictly potrays that these life forms are extremely savage, inhumane and of course, stupid. Nonetheless, our resistance proves powerless and we managed to convince them to let us stay for at least until next morning. This fragile excuse made the wardens less hostile and they left us, thankfully.

The clearing out idea was okay with me but i doubt it will be the same with adam. So we decided on instead of leaving, we shall try to remain dormant til we get more reinforcements- and that means, getting madam fatimah to do the convince madam hamidah that she allow us to stay. Furthermore, by tomorrow, more IPBArians might be back from their holidays and with more reinforcement, our wall of resistance might still hold a lil longer and a little longer is more than enough..
