Delaqroux Inc update!! And my current condition; freezing inside the library while waiting for Adam to come out so that i can finally leave his god-forsaken laptop! No, seriously, ADAM!!! GET THE HELL OUT OF YOUR CLASS AND TAKE YOUR LAPTOP WIT YOU!!! sob… i wanna balik awal…

Eitherways, IPBA jz started and (amazingly) i lost my life. What i meant is; i dont feel the same a lil. Last time, there were a hell lot of things that i dont like bout life in IPBA but i can still pujuk myself saying something like "Hey, there’s an outing to look forward to this coming monday" for example. But now, i feel friggin’ miserable. I (still) hate life in IPBA but worse yet, there’s almost nothing to look forward to. Yep, i had an Onnum fest outing yesterday and a movie coming tmrw. But i dunno. I dont feel THAT "look forward to" feel anymore. Instead, i just feel all stressed out and there’s this feeling like ppl are starting to hate me. Bah, what the heck…

Maybe i should start taking coffee again… And Preena’s goin to kill me. That’s somethin worth not to look forward to.. :p

Delaqroux Inc Update!

We went to Revathy’s house this evening an spend our whole day there. It was cool meeting Revathy’s family and their house was real cheerful (which i expected not to be so as Rev was supposed to be sick- according to one of her messages to me that is). Eitherways, lets just skip that part first. There wasnt much to tell about what happened in Rev’s house or what we did there as- unprecisely "we"- i did practically nothing while those guys (Adam and Daryl) played Carom like crazy…

And that is where all of the stories began- carom.

As these dousches are playing carrom like crazy, it was already 9.30pm. We were actly planning to leave at 9pm as getting a bus back from Mertajam to Adam’s house is quite hard to do. So, we rushed out to the bus station. Apparently, there were no more bus to Nibong Tebal! Luckily, i did mention earlier that if we are to miss all the buses, our final resort could be taking a KTM train instead. Thus, plan B was triggered. That’s only when Adam walked out of the KTM station holding one good news and one bad news. Good- there’s still train back to Nibong Tebal. Bad- it’s the last train and all seats are full!! Daryl beg for mercy didnt work so, yep, there we are; stuck outta nowhere.. Yep, it was @#$%ed up alright..

The guys were already wandering off mindlessly like zombies from RE4 (things that normally happen once we are out of ideas or simply that there are too much pressure put on our fragile lil minds) when i suggested to stick to Adam’s original plan- we just sneak into the train! We agreed finally and so, began Metal Gear Solid 7: Sons of Madouschelasia…

It went well actually. Security was slacking in tonight and apparently, no guard came to check passengers’ ticket. Quite dumb right? So, yep, as future teachers, we definitely did something that shouldnt be encouraged for our future students to do. But then again, it’s surviving- what do you expect?

Delaqroux Inc Updates!!

Actually (with Adam’s annoying lil intonation), my blog has gone hay wire these few months. I havent finished the BTN camp posts and now there’s the Language camp- which will be such a pity if there were no blog posts to talk about such experience (escpecially of Cochraine). Ok, so the language camp has ended almost a week ago and you know what that means??? GOD! MY BLOG IS RUNNING OFF SCHEDULE!!!

So, let’s take a lil procastination. bah, the blog post on the camps can wait. let’s talk of something else! Maybe something like; how do i enjoy my holiday this time around!! w00t!! Ok, so this is Dark A. Delaqroux reporting live from the Roberts house live in Penang! Yep, spending my hols here in Penang with Adam and Daryl and its just our second day here but i met some cool ppl that worth a blog post.

So, i met Adam’s mom, Adam’s dad… and an exact copy of Adam; Alex. Well, he’s Adam lil bro who’s just the same age as me. Seriously, the way he talks, he is one helluva doppelganger of Adam Jay. Ok, blame it on the big brother everybody! Adam’s mom and dad are cool too. His mom’s not as strict as my mom (ok, if my mom’s goin2 read this one; its either she will reconsider on being less strict OR be even more of a PLKN facilitator) and his dad’s real talkative. Can say i’m well on my progress on making myself feel really at home here. lolz. Oh yeah, met a friends of Adam as well. Still cant get her name though (either it’s Christene, Christina or Christy- i’ve been calling her will all three names at the moment :p) but i surely can remember her cool hairdo. lolz. Her rocks as much as she… uh… does rocks. Eitherways, had some long chatter with her an Alex in Old Town coffee shop on our first night here. It’s funny on how crapping on how crappy BTN camp is can actually make some nice ice breaker. Eitherways, yep, met some cool buddies have i?

Unfortunately, Christene/Christy/Christina had a lil accident today on the road. nothing big actly. Just that she hit some bike on the road. no casualties, but she was shocked i think. Hope she’s okay now. Man, shouldnt have keep her up last night watching some crappy South Park.. Oh well, seriously hope that i can see both Alex and Christy/Christene/Christina at least once more before i left from Penang once this break’s over. That would be cool.

Ok, tmrw, Penang Island tour en route!! This is Dark A. Delaqroux- signing off!

ATTENTION PLS!!

Some ppl actually mistaketh that i am right now in the BTN camp over at UK and questions have arisen whether am i still in the campsite. Apparently, it will be such stupidity if i am to say yes for that question for i am to still be in the campsite; it would have almost been a month. Actually, the camp was around early of August, lasted for a week and it had long ended. It is just that i am too lazy to update my blog with "Delaqroux Live! in UK" post series on-time. So if you read the blog post properly, i did mention the number of days of the camp (each seperated with seperate blog post). So, yep, i AM still in IPBA and yes, (unfortunately for you) i’m still alive and kicking arses!

Oh yeah, i will let this lil anticlimax out thanks to some maddening spreading rumour about me actually going to United Kingdom already; lemme just let this lil spoiler out to make all well again. UK actually stands for Ulu Kenas, a forest preservation area in Kuala Kangsar, Perak- not United Kingdom. It was a publicity stunt and if you actually believed that the abbreviation of that UK actly stands for United Kingdom… well… what do you know? OWNED!!! NYAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!

Delaqroux Live! in UK (part 3)

Third day starts off with me and myself, transforming back to my own self; a law breaker! Nyahahah! I dont even bother waking up to pray at the mosque! (But i still pray in our dorm though). And guess what? I was late!! Nyaahahahha!! i FEEL so ALIVEE!! Ok, cut the crap. i expected things to turn out better (or at least less tiring) than the previous two days. Actually, today’s activity involves only LDKs, LDKs and more LDKs. So i expected it will turn out to be a whole line-up of team building crap… uh.. i mean… beneficial activities!

Riiiight…

Ok, it wasnt rly that bad though. First up was a bunch of question you get during PTS (Just manage to barely answer one correctly.. i sucked). And the remains are just… well… leadership qualities based activities with the rest of my groupmates involving debates and uh.. some discussion. Me and izzy were getting along well and so do me and the rest of my teammates. I found out that i couldnt get involved socially well during lunchbreaks but i can communicate better if the situation involves work.. Hmm… weird… Eitherways, that evening’s workout wasnt a "poco2" (a type of a retarded indonesian dance which we had done for almost every outdoor workout while we were in the campsite). Instead, it was… *chinese drumroll* TAEKWONDO! Yep, such a fine coincidence if i do agree. I’ll be grading the next tuesday and i was just saying that i might actly not get any practice thanks to this stupid camp (and the stupid "poco2" dance). Lady luck is still on a bestbud treaty with me i guess.

Oh ya, i seriously think that one of my teammate, Zubir, wanna make a move to IZzy. But the guy was really hesitating fearing that i have a crush with IZzy that he kept on asking me dumb stuffs like "you dont mind i kacau Izzy right?" and "tak kisah kan?". ha-ha.. ya right.. Smug. Way of the JPP? Hmm… maybe…

Delaqroux Live! in UK (part2)

Second day in UK start off pretty well for me. Although not getting enough sleep, i manage to start off the day with a nice cold bath at 5am. Ok, a lil secret to be unfolded here; i didnt bath at for the first day! HAH! Ahem.. Additionally, breakfast was quite good. i’m starting to love my group. However, later during LDK1 (short for Latihan Dalam Kumpulan), we were informed that out current group are merely trials! In other words, we will be rearranged into different groups with whole different members. I’m not sure whether was i to be happy with the news or what. I dont get a long well with Faruqhi and Izaidah but i’m ok with Kamarul and Azree. Still, things cant be helped.

Group 4; BREAK OUT!!

Whoops, rewind! Before we were being broke off into different groups, the facilitator organized some weird (not to mention; dumb) activities for our first LDK session. One of them is the.. well.. "Imaginary Orchestra Conducting" game. It wasnt group based though. The whole hall was divided in two, which if i may add; extremely discriminative and offensive, groups of… well… the short people and tall people… GRAAAAARGH!!! I’M NOT SHORT!!! READ MY GODDAMN LIPS!!! I.. AM… NOT… SHORT!!!! So, back to the game. All of had to be conductors of imaginary orchestra. Our team of sho… i mean… our team lost to the… other team but Chew, our head ‘conductor’. Won the best conductor award. Yep, it seems THAT boosted up his spirit real high. Good for him.

After the last activity, all of us were splited up. From Group 4, i was transferred to Group 8 along with Izzy. My new team seems pretty nice though. My group lead, Safwan (which was assigned during lunch hour) turned out to be quite a cool lad. My teammates? Aye, turned out to be great ladies and gentlemen as well. Oh ya, better list them out here before i forgot their names (I’m bad at remembering names, remember?). Uhh.. okay, here goes; Safwan, Adham, Zubir, Ustaz (Fadley), Athis, Ustazah, Izzy, Fei Fun and uh… two more girls… who i cant rly remember their names ^^; Eitherways, our facilitator was En. Zainal Abidin. Doesnt that suggest you of our faci’s parents’ favourite male artist? lolz.

Unfortunately, after Friday prayers, i was down-to-earth. First of all, i was really tired. Secondly, as we need to travel out of the campsite to reach the mosque, my phone was finally connected to DiGi again. It was a good thing, of course. I called up nearly everyone (well, not rly everyone). Ok, so it just had been one and half day since i left IPBA but time feels very slow here in UK that it felt like i havent heard Preena’s voice for a month and a half. Yet, to think that a short conversation with her would make me feel less home-sick, i was wrong. I feel more homesick than ever. Fell asleep in my way back to campsite and dreamt of myself being on my way back to IPBA already.. Bah…

That was dead spoiler of the day alright. It seems like i lost my whole mood for everything. I fell asleep while LDK is in session. I acted so passive to everyone’s presentation (oh yeah, we had to draw our lifeline and key events to present to the rest of the class). And worse yet, i fell asleep while LDK is in session… wait, did i just said that again?

Lights… Bugs… Blindness… Life.

I always had saw this scene where some flying bugs crowded a real bright light in the hall. Seriously, i dont rly get what they are actly thinking coz i’m not a bug. But i thought its just the nature of them to do so. Love to watch them though, staying all in a bunch or in a big group like that even if i dont understand them. But there is this smaller light in the balcony which had broke down since long time ago. It still emit light, nevertheless, but just not that bright as the one in the hall. Surprisingly, there are still flying bugs mingling around this dimmer light but there were very few of them. They are of the same species as the ones surrounding the bright light and they looked just as lively as all the other bugs surrounding the bright light. However, when the brighter light flying bugs saw the lower light flying bugs, they thought that all these bugs flying around the dimmer light are of different species as they didnt crowd the same bright light as how the majority flying bugs do. So, they killed these flying bugs surrounding the dimmer light. So, now, all the remaining flying bugs from the dimmer light have no place to go. They cant join the bugs around the brighter light as most of the bugs there would just want to kill them. They cant even go back to the dimmer light as this would make the bugs around the brighter lights hate them even more.

One of the remaining bugs landed on the palm of my hand and whispered, “what will happen to me?”

I sighed. If only i can answer to him…

Delaqroux Live! in UK (part 1)

Wednesday, August 1st, 2007

It had been a long blogpostless month (thanks to a crappy element called “life”) and finally, here comes one! And, to make it more worth-the-wait, this and a few more following post will be talking about your humble blogger here, Dark A. Delaqroux, going live in UK! Yeah, you heard me right! Delaqroux Inc Updates LIVE IN U.K!!

Day One:

The trip was a boring trip escpecially coz we had a boring bus driver and a boring bus. Apparently, the driver seemed to understand how bored we were and decided to play a movie in the bus (there was a TV and a DVD player in the bus actly). Noble of the lad but, unfortunately, his so-called movie-for-not-the-weak-hearted was just a dumbass movie which entitled “Jangan Pandang Belakang” (roughly translated in English as “Dont look at your backside”). Lets just say, it was a combination of the Exorcist + (boring and unnatural) malay dialogues + watching white paint dry on your fence.

We reached the campsite and unfortunately, the bus driver decided not to take the risk of his bus falling into the river on the side of the road (or was it pathway?) and told us to walk all the way from the main road to the campsite which was around 2km. Yeah, i walked 2km all the time but this time, we had to drag around our baggage and yes, it was sick…

Campsite aint that grand though. Our dormitory was packed like… dormitory. Can you imagine; 48 guys in one room? Ok, maybe you can but i was expecting lesser. Actually, five other colleges were there in UK as well. So, in all, there were around 70 guys and 70 girls. But, thanks to the trip (and the boring movie), we didnt have any problem taking a nap on our first day. But, wait! What hempen homespuns have we swaggering here??? (or in modern in English: What the fuck!?) There were no phone signals for DiGi!! (cue for Maxis and Celcom users to rejoice here) Thus, spend I long gruelsome moments of terminated connection… I was planning to call Preena and my parents first thing when i arrive but heck, there i was, lonesome as ever… WAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Then there were this taklimat in the hall and we were reunited with the girls of IPBA one again (yeah, i was starting to miss Amy like hell). After voting for our penghulu for the whole program, we were break up into seperate teams. In other words, twelve teams of twelve members will be assigned and each team will consist of two (or three) IPBA students and the rest will consist of two (or three) students from IPIK, IPIS, IPTeknik, IPBM and IP Sains (if i’m not mistaken). Was hoping i could team up with Shogi, Chew or Amy but like all of us generally known, God hates me and He assigned me to be with Faruqhi (how do we spell his name again?). Okay, so it wasnt that bad but still… WAAAAAAAAA!!!

Finally, knowing that there will also be a chinese girl an indian guy in my team, i figured that it might not be as lonely as they too wee seperaterd with the rest of their buddies. Misery attracts companies? Hmm… Maybe we’ll see…
