In Memories of Neo

Friday, November 24th, 2006

Not that much of an update this time. Just wanna write soemthing in memories of Neo, my black cat who died just this afternoon (25th of November). Neo came from a litter of five but only he survived until today. He’s just your average house cat, all black in colour and have two cat-eyes- the type of cat whom people might actually try to avoid due to some superstitious beliefs. Neo was quite alone while he was a kitten so he was very timid, always hiding away from people except me. As he grew older, Neo grew into quite a hunter where he once managed to pounce down a low flying pigeon. Many birds and rats have been caught by Neo but he left all his preys to his other step siblings; showing he just have the interest to only hunt them; not eating them. I believe Neo, perhaps like other cats, could sense the ‘things’ from the ‘other’ world as well as he once became furious all of the sudden at nothing as if there is a stranger in the dark. Neo spend most of the time walking around the house, defending his territory from neighboring cats. He got involved in fights with other cats a few times but he always walks out without any bruises. Yet again, he had his glorious life. Neo was found this afternoon dead behind the store fridge where he had shown some symptoms of food poisoning earlier before. Perhaps he died because of that as well. Nevertheless, Neo was a good companion for me even if he’s just merely a cat and he will stay forever in my mind as a trustworthy companion even after this…Abcd0001_1

Neuter Your Pets, Please!

Friday, November 24th, 2006

Neuter? WTF!? Lolz. Dont worry, it’s just another blog post title. Well, last weekend, I went to become an SPCA volunteer in Bangsar Village. Got the words that they’ll be having a small adoption fest somewhere there and they’re looking for volunteers. Okay.. so SPCA is an agency who.. well Animal Abusing Preventing Agency whatever that is.. you get the drift. Eitherways, me and some other guys from IPBA plan to look for some volunteer work on the Sunday but i dont have any things to do on Saturday so might as well volunteer myself for the Saturday no?

The prob at first was i have no idea where Bangsar Village is so i just walked and walked and walked (not planning to take a taxi coz my cash were running really low that time). And a miracle happened, i manged to reach Bangsar Village! Come to think of it, i dunno where i was heading. I just walked aimlessly and i reached the place. Fancy eh? Anyways, nothing much to do on the Saturday fest. There werent that many peeps and i strictly dunno what to do as well. So, i just spent my time accompanying Momo (a really penakut punya kucing) and a real cute girl who was another volunteer that time. No, i wasnt being gatal! Just looking for company. Bleh.. Anyways, she’s quite a charming girl as well. lolz

Kinda sad on the next day of the voluntary work though. She wasnt coming. (gloooooooooom) Oh well, but this around we have a lot of extra reinforcements; Naveen, Myn, Grace, RJ and uh… me! Yep, we had a good time with the animals. lolz. Momo was there today as well but the rest are all different. Heard that Suki and Manoo got adopted. Lucky lots. This day however, there’s more peeps and you can guess how many peeps were visiting our pets for adoption. It was funny seeing Grace and Myn though. Myn had so much fun accompanying Sweetie and Crystal (the dogs) while Grace went on a trance with her petition form. She kept on asking for signatures non stop! lolz. Never knew she liked petition so much. Anyways, animals got a new home that day; Ginger, Lucy (SHE’S GOING TO THE UNITED STATES GODDAMNIT!!! 0_0), Snoop (Myn’s fav doggie of the day) and Tigga (the moody cat).

Well, be looking forward for more voluntary works i am. Kinda have that god-have-removed-some-of-my-sin feeling after it and it feels so… nice… sniff.. Yep, so we learned a lot as well. Firstly, animals are so much like us; Secondly, us are so much like animals (lololololz) and finally, how come food in Bangsar are so god-forbid expensive!!!!!????

RUNNING LATE ON UPDATE!!

Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006

Okay, yep, so imma rly gone late with the update these days so her goes. GODSPEED!!!

First of all, there was my outing with Mun Ting. So, yeah, Loong, Chew and Preenie werent here in IPBA that time so it’s just me and RJ. The weekend was sure to suck for sure. I mean like everybody’s goin home so nothing to do in dorm. How boring can that weekened be? No Crusaders (Rocka went home too), no Worms whatsoever. But then RJ invited me to the arcade at Mid Valley. W00tness! An offer too good to be true (Well, not because of that but i thought i was borned to be bored that weekend). So we went on. Myn was together with us and yep, we had a good time alright. First it was KFC, then the bowling alley, and finally the arcade (Yep, our wallet got a whalloped btw). We played Time Crisis 3 and almost finished the game until a son.. i mean, a guy reset my game while i was away purchasing more tokens. Damnit.. Afterwards, Myn went off with AJ and co. so it was me and RJ. So, we went shopping! Well, not rly ‘we’ but only RJ went shopping- i just watch from the sidelines. Spent most of our time looking for shirts and dresses. lolz. It was kinda weird though. With whoever people i go out with, i’ll end up tagging them while they are looking for outfits. Hey, not complaining btw. Really enjoyed myself!

So, that night we hanged out at Scud with AJ and co. Cool lots. They just came back from church if i’m not mistaken. Too bad Lee wasnt with us though but we had fun chatting away the night. I went back to dorm and 11 that day and that’s a new record for my first longest outing duration! w00t!

And if you think that’s all of it, well, no it’s not! The next day, we went to Mummy’s house.. or should i call it as mansion. It’s BIG! So, there werent that many of us from F1.5 going though. There were like two trips and the first trip had already went off that very morn to Mummy’s mansion. Her mansion is in Kajang. pretty far away from IPBA i might add but it was cool. First it was LRT to Central and then KTM all the way to Kajang station. Nothing much happened out on the way but we really enjoyed our time with Nani. Whoa! Not ‘Mustang punya’ Nani but it’s Mummy’s Nani.. uh.. ok.. it’s her one year old daughter. She’s so kawaiii!!!! So, after some two session of meals in Mummy’s house we went back but it was already 9 pm that time. Well, the way back was cool as well. A group walk in the park.. i mean.. dark. How cool can that be! (then again, maybe i’m just being a lil bit Jakun. lolz)

Yep, it was one helluva weekend alright. Tiring but fun! Too bad my boys werent able to join in. Oh well, no probs. There’s always next year raya and with raya comes open houses no? lolz. Dark out.

BANZAAAIII!!!!

Last week was the best week ever! Okay, so, this calls for another Delaqroux Inc Update!
Well, just last week, the Japanese.. um.. foundation thingy made a free class of Japanese language! It was the bomb. Well, most of the things they thought are already familiar to me but hey, a lil recap wont hurt will it? It was two day package of free class and i attended both! Definitely the bomb allright. Special thanks to Abu-sempai, Lim-sensei, Mazani-sempai and Mina-sensei! So yep, that was it. Um.. so what else we did?… Right! We went to Anna Lakshmi again. Well, actually it was my second trip. The last trip was the last last week but i havent get time to update it. Anyways, this time ’round, i went with RJ and Preenie. No Loong or Chew this time. Lazy bums.. Kinda more quiet than our previous trip coz we also had Daryl, AJ and Myn with us. not to mention Preenie lil (confusing) ghost story about toyol or bunian or something. Still, the food never expires even for this time around. We had…. *drumroll* BIHUN!!!! NYAHAHAHAHA!!! So, yeah, and there was the annoying cohort meeting, block meeting, blah blah blah…

Why participate when you can discriminate?

Saturday, November 4th, 2006

Friday, 3 Nov 2006

Malaysia is a place of harmony where people of difference races can live without beating the crap out of each other? So, that’s harmony huh? Living side by side and not kick each other’s butt? Sure it is. Recently, me and my buddies went for Petaling Street and peeps just cant stop staring at  RJ who wore a punjabi suit. And just today, i went out to Sunway Pyramid. Nice place unless peeps can get they eyes off me and my Jippa (if you dunno what a jippa is; read on). Different thing happened during Devilana’s recent Deepavali Eve gathering though. No one showed up to his gathering at all. No people; no eyes staring this time. It was great! Live together like IPBArians? I tried to practice that all the time but in Islamic studies where i have to attend a different class from my non-muslim friends; i wonder how pleasant does it feel for my other… well… fellow IPBArians to indulge a moment where they finally get to see me without my usual companions. To sum things up; life in Malaysia is definitely something to die for indeed where people of difference races shares something in common; perhaps to put in a more sarcastic words; a slogan, "if you cant participate them; discriminate them". Yeah, of course! When you discriminate someone; you stare at them, alienate their gatherings and maybe even laugh at them. When people of different races practices this; there will be no ass kicking, only discrimination- yep, all the way to the nice big plan; live in ‘harmony’.

Maybe we all should shut up and do something. Just because some celebs or ministers organized an open house with Malaysian of different races attended it, doesnt mean we are in harmony. Just because me and my fellow Malays arent throwing grenades at the Chinese and Indians, it doesnt make us all corteous. If you think Malaysian never practices discrimination; think harder. 4A malay student passed an interview in UiTM while a 10A Chinese student didnt even get the offer for any UiTM interviews whatsoever. A Chinese customer refuses to talk in Malay with an Indian waiter at a Pizza Hut in Selayang even when the Indian waiter had mentioned he cannot talk fluently in English and finally, an Indian provoked me (a malay of course) into a fight in Petaling Street with the sentence "u melayu berlagak ar". No one even bothered even when he says that out loud. The hatred went on an on. No one know when the circular-moving line began and no one know when it will stop..

Malaysian havent participate in a life on which how it should really be yet. In my perception, fights occur when you cant accept differences in others and from my view on these past events, Malaysia… well… maybe have accepted the differences but they cant accept the similarities some small communities tries to portray. Is there anything wrong with the attempt to blend in the so-called Malaysian multi-racial community that you should stare and laught and joke on those attempts? Maybe Malaysia never had such fights but that’s only in the aspect of physical- how about mental aspects? Face the truth, our minds are in cages. Discrimination is still at large. Someone should do something about it and when i say ’someone’; it means; all of us.

Wee-wang-wang!

Saturday, November 4th, 2006

LET THERE BE UPDATE!!!! WEE-WANG-WANG!!! WEE-WANG-WANG!!

Lololz. Doesn’t it really suck when you got one sound stuck in your head for the whole weekend just because a girl makes it on the week’s Monday? Ahem, so, updates there shall be! Wee-wang-wang shall be heard!

So what we did this week? To kick things off ; we have the gest-chant game! Uh… jeschan or… just-chant… whatever the spelling is. So what is a gestchant@jeschan@just-chan? Actually, it is some kind of an activity we did in one of our ES lesson. We were doing one of Emily Dickinson’s (no, not Emily Strange) poem entitled “Hope” and we have to make the oh-so-holy poem into a song complete with (kindergarten-ish) gestures and tune. So, after a short ten minutes of brainstorming; we decided to remix… I mean… reform the poem with a “incy wincy spider” and a Chinese song (not rly sure it’s a Chinese song though; uh maybe it is though coz it’s Loong contributed that idea :p) tune. Turns out fun, really. The other group’s presentation was nice too. So kawaii! And, unfortunately, I still haven’t get rid of the “hope-hope here, hope-hope there” tune in my head (irritating it is).

Oh, I forgot the… *glooooooooooooom* NL test… nothing much to tell… except for it’s a sureshot to an ‘F’… who thought it would be that hard. No kidding… I am sure to fail… *glooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom* T_T Argh!!! Allah, bestow upon your mercy on this god forsaken ‘F’ receiver!!!

Ahem, let’s just pretend the last paragraph never existed. Anyways, yep, we went to

Petaling Street

this week as well. Sure’s a

Chinatown

out there but hey, let me share something “hot” (and no, this has nothing to do with my Brad Pitt-y look. Lololololz) While I was strolling along the streets of Petaling while my buddies indulge in their Chinese dishes, I got a ‘salesguy’ promoting me something; PORN!!! NYAHAHA!!! Okay, so it’s nothing that hot after all isn’t it? They just came to me and well, shove a porn-filled dvd catalog on my face. It rly suck man… No, not talking bout the women; they’re nice of course… WAIT! WTF AM I TALKING ABOUT!! IT’S ALL STUPID!! SALESGUY AND THOSE BITCHES AND ALL!!! Can u believe that? What do they think I am? A goddamn pimp or something?! And I’m really pissed with the second ‘salesguy’(oh yeah, there were three ‘salesguys’ if I haven’t mention it) He actually mentions something about me, ME; noble Dark Delaqroux, to actually RESPECT him? WTF!? You got some guts asking for respect when you yourself is disrespecting me, asshole! Goddamn stupid bastard… *mumble-mumble* Sheesh… thanks for the mood spoiling, bastard.

And yeah, how RJ laughed when I told her what happened… I’m gonna kill that RJ… *mumble-mumble*

Anyways, let’s just skip that stupid part now shall we? Today, me, mom and sis and lil sis went outing! Yep, been a while since our last outing and today, we went to Sunway Pyramid *halo echo*!! It was rly a cool place, literally, especially the ice rink! Okay, so maybe I suck at inline skating but hey, nothing can stop me from trying eh? But, unfortunate for me, the last question wasn’t a rhetorical one… the answer is; there is. We were rly running out of time and we gotta head back… bleh… but hey, maybe I can ask the guys out next time? Yep, I know which bus to take for the trip to Sunway Pyramid so everything’s just like the back of my hand! Woo-hoo! Cant wait for next week! And don’t miss the next update, ladies and gentlemen! (and pray for me that it will be a good one pls)
